A cheap printer with expensive cartridges is the most widespread trap. A device sold for very little pays the manufacturer back through consumables: over three years the cartridges cost several times more than the printer itself. What you have to calculate is the cost per page.

Frequently asked questions

For equipment under warranty, original ones, otherwise you risk losing the warranty. For everything else compatible cartridges give a noticeable saving at acceptable quality, though quality varies between manufacturers. We work with proven ones and switch if complaints appear.

Less often than people think. Colour printing costs several times more and is usually needed by a handful of employees. The workable arrangement is black and white devices in the departments and one colour machine for the office.

You can see who prints and how much. In companies that introduce it the print volume falls by 20 to 30 percent in the first months simply because printing stops being anonymous. It pays for itself quickly.
