Before a repair it is worth asking whether it pays off. Repairing a computer more than six or seven years old often costs as much as replacing it, and the remaining components will keep failing. We say so honestly, even when the repair is more profitable for us.

Frequently asked questions

The call-out price is fixed and quoted when you get in touch; the work is priced separately after the diagnostics. If you decide to do nothing after the diagnosis, you pay only for the visit.

Some things, yes: software configuration, viruses, email and printing problems. We always try remotely first because it is faster and cheaper for you. A visit is needed where the problem lies in hardware or in the network.

Simple cases such as file system errors or accidental deletion we handle ourselves. Physical drive failure requires a specialist laboratory, and we say so honestly rather than experimenting.
