Restoring from the cloud is limited by your bandwidth. A terabyte over a 100 Mbps link takes more than a day to download. So a cloud copy is protection against a disaster, while fast recovery also needs a local one. Neither replaces the other.

Frequently asked questions

You pay for volume and operations. For a small company that is usually a modest monthly amount. Overspending happens when copies are kept forever, so automatic deletion rules are configured from the start.

No, we connect Russian providers. That matters for more than speed: if the copies contain personal data, storing it abroad breaches the processing requirements.

Not if it is set up correctly: encryption happens before sending and the key stays with you. The flip side is that losing the key means losing the data, so its storage is arranged separately.
