Checking compatibility matters more than choosing a model. Russian hardware usually works with Russian operating systems, but your industry specific applications, banking client and peripherals may not run. A pilot unit before buying a batch saves an enormous amount of trouble.

Frequently asked questions

In typical office tasks the difference is not noticeable. Questions arise under heavy load and in specifics: the range of configurations is narrower and there are fewer peripheral options. For ordinary work with documents and accounting systems the hardware is suitable.

For government customers, where registry analogues exist, yes, and a refusal has to be justified. Commercial companies are not obliged to, though some choose such hardware for the sake of participating in tenders and predictable supply.

Longer than for mass market hardware: four to eight weeks depending on the item and the volume. Stock levels for such models are usually low, so the purchase has to be planned in advance.
