Errors in the contents of a receipt are not noticed immediately. A wrong VAT rate or payment method attribute does not stop you selling, but it accumulates and surfaces during an inspection. So the first receipts should be checked line by line rather than merely confirming that the till works.

Frequently asked questions

When you take cash or settle payments at the point of sale, where a physical till is required. A cloud till covers only remote payments: on the website, by payment link, or a bank transfer from an individual.

The labelling codes must be transmitted in the receipt at the point of sale, otherwise they are not retired from circulation. Cloud tills support this, but the link has to be configured and verified on a real sale.
