A standard workstation
The same hardware model, one system image and one set of applications. Replacements and spare parts become predictable.
The package is defined once and then repeated at every new site without reinventing it.

A compact set: a switch, an access point, a UPS. The same design at every branch so an engineer understands it without a site visit.
A secure connection for access to 1C and internal services, with a backup link in case the provider goes down.
A new branch employee gets access under the same rules as at head office, with no manual setup on site.
The remote line handles most requests, and for site visits we bring in a vetted contractor under our supervision.
A diagram, the network documentation and a list of hardware and access rights. With that document the next branch can be opened almost without us.
The first branch takes longer because the standard is defined on it. After that the time nearly halves.
We define what the site needs: how many workstations, a till, a stockroom, a meeting room. We record it in a standard specification.
The provider order, network and electrical installation, mounting the cabinet. Done in parallel with the refurbishment.
The hardware arrives already configured from the image; all that remains is to place it, connect it and bring up the link to head office.
We test every workstation, hand over the documentation and add the site to the overall support contract.
A mismatch of hardware costs more than it seems. Five branches with five different models of computer and router mean five sets of instructions, five sets of spares and an engineer who works it out from scratch every time. One standard pays off by the third site.
Remote support covers all of Russia and handles most requests. For launching a site we come ourselves, and for routine visits we bring in a vetted local contractor who works to our instructions and under our supervision. Requests still go through one support desk.
Usually not: the site works over the link to head office or through the cloud. A local server is justified when connectivity is unreliable and stopping work is unacceptable, for example in a warehouse or in retail with tills.
The standard package includes a backup link, usually mobile, with automatic failover. For retail this is essential: a till without connectivity stops sales. The cost of the backup is far lower than an hour of downtime at the outlet.
Sites are added to the overall contract and the fee is calculated by the number of workstations, as for head office. There is no extra charge simply for being a branch, but the backup link and regional visits are included in the calculation.
Tell us how many outlets you plan and what has to work at each one. We will define a standard setup and calculate the cost of launching a single outlet.
