Protection of patient data
Health information requires a higher protection level: role-based access separation, access logging and channel encryption.
Five blocks. The first two are required by law, and the other three keep the clinic running.

A governance document set reflecting medical specifics, consent forms, staff access rules and the procedure for sharing data with insurers.
The medical information system must not go down during clinic hours: redundant nodes, frequent backups and a short recovery time.

Health information belongs to a special category of personal data. That usually raises the required protection level and therefore the set of mandatory measures: stricter access separation, mandatory logging and tougher requirements for security tools. The exact level is determined during the assessment.
We are responsible for the infrastructure they run on: servers, network, backups, access and security. The medical system itself is configured and updated by its vendor, but we take on the liaison so you are not caught between two contractors during an incident.
It can, provided the facility is located in Russia, meets the required protection level and a data processing agreement is signed with the operator. We select a facility with the necessary certifications and prepare the paperwork; otherwise the cloud creates a violation instead of convenience.
A role model is configured: a doctor sees their own patients, reception sees only booking data and an administrator has no access to the clinical part. Every access to a record is logged. This is both a legal requirement and protection against internal leaks, which are more common in clinics than external ones.
